Salvatore Viola

I am a third-year PhD Student in Economics at the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) affiliated with the Quantitative Regional Analysis Group (AQR-IREA). My PhD thesis is supervised jointly by Rosina Moreno and Ernest Miguelez.

My research interests include the geography of innovation and the economics of science. I am particularly interested in environmental-related science and innovation as well as how migration contributes to the global diffusion of knowledge.
